“How Does It Work?”

My Style & Medium:

My wedding painting is mixed-media with an acrylic underlayer and oil on top, portraying a realistic depiction of the couple with an elegant, impressionistic background. I am detail-oriented and I prioritize capturing every carefuly chosen element of the day. It truly warms my heart to encapsulate couples' special day into a piece of art that will be cherished for generations.

Prior to the Wedding Day:

I will schedule a phone consultation with you 6-8 weeks prior to the celebration to discuss your vision. During this call, in addition to covering day-of-logistics, we will discuss your choice for the wedding painting's 'chosen moment' (ie. the first look, ring exchange, first kiss, dip kiss, ceremony exit, or posed photoshoot post-ceremony & background location). As a painter, I am a "professional painter-shopper," meaning, I can creatively mix your dreamy reception view with the first kiss or a special pose from the post-ceremony photoshoot into the final piece.

Day-of-Wedding:

I arrive 1-2 hours prior to the ceremony to set up. During this time, I find the best composition for the chosen background and begin the acrylic underlayer.

During the ceremony, I will briefly slip into the aisle to capture the chosen moment. I recognize the photographer/videographer will need a clear view so I prioritize being out of their way!

After the ceremony, I will capture extra reference photos in a brief 5-minute photoshoot. I then begin 6+ hours of live painting at the reception location. During this time, guests may witness the artwork come to life in real time. Your painting will be nearly complete by the end of the celebration!

At the end of the night, we will do a painting reveal!

After the Wedding Day:

I will spend additional hours of final refinements on the painting (time dependent on chosen package). I will complementary hand-deliver (or ship if necessary) the completed piece 4-6 weeks post-celebration.
